Ulusal Radio Television began to establish a television production studio in 1983. By 1985, it was the proud owner of a large and well-equipped TV studio which was first used for production of TV commercials and promotional videos for large companies and institutions. The next step was program production for national broadcast.
URT's first television program was the news program "Hodri Meydan" (I Dare You).
This was followed by very popular programs such as entertainment programs like "Bir Baska Gece" (A Different Night), “Iste Muzik Iste Eglence" (That's Music, That's Entertainment), "Vur Patlasın, Cal Oynasın!" (Whoop Up!) and numeorus other types of programs.
Ulusal pioneered in the private sector with live, multi-camera, instant re-play and multi-audio feed coverage of national football matches. Ulusal also produced many super prime time series and serials starring the most talented and highly regarded stage and film actors and actresses.
Ulusal has produced many music, sports, entertainment, reality, news and drama programs first for TRT and later for major national channels like ATV, SHOW TV, Kanal 6 and STAR TV.
